Conduct R&D projects with partners in other countries

Is the perfect partner for your R&D project located outside Luxembourg? The EUREKA programmes help you implement your collaborative project, each with funding from your own country.

Do you want to develop R&D and business relationships with partners outside Luxembourg?

The Luxembourg Ministry of the Economy offers financial support to Luxembourg companies that conduct collaborative R&D projects with at least one international partner – companies and/or research institutes. 

The cooperation is organised through calls for projects, which can be either thematic or open, published several times per year by the EUREKA networks. The calls focus on industrial research and/or experimental development. The subsidy can cover a proportion of the eligible costs directly related to research and development projects. 

We will advise you on whether your company would be eligible and whether these programmes are the best option for your specific case. 

We can also provide information about specific calls, explain the necessary steps in order to be successful and help you find the right partner(s) abroad.

Who can benefit?

This aid measure targets Luxembourg-based companies which collaborate closely and interactively with international partners on a research and development (R&D) project within the scope of an international call for projects. The maximum project budget varies depending on the targeted call. Timelines and the information required to submit an application also vary between the calls. 

Projects need to fulfil all eligibility criteria. Applications must follow the online procedure that can be found on MyGuichet.lu.
